Daiana Badreya
Diana Badreya, born in Damascus in 1978, is a Syrian visual artist known for her emotive, figurative paintings. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Damascus and has participated in several exhibitions, including the Alshabab Exhibition (2015), the Arab Cultural Centre (2017), and a solo show titled "Imaginary" at Mojo Art Gallery in Beirut. And now showcasing her artworks at Artscene Gallery.
With a background in children's fashion design at Sawah Company and experience leading art workshops for children, Diana’s work often reflects themes of childhood and imagination. In 2023, she was awarded a special prize in a drawing competition held by the Venezuelan Embassy in Syria. Her art blends realism with emotional depth, capturing quiet moments of innocence and connection.
