Mohammed Al Hawajeri
Mohammed Al Hawajri (Gaza Strip, Palestine, 1976), a visionary artist, co-founded the Eltiqa' Group for Contemporary Art in 2002. Al Hawajri was granted a residency in Paris between 2008 and 2009, expanding his cultural and artistic perspectives. He won the top honor at the Summer Academy in Jordan, three times in succession, underlining his commitment and talent.
Al Hawajri's art encapsulates his homeland's resilience and struggles. His work oscillates between satire and beauty, casting an original lens on reality. Through compelling pieces, he mirrors life in conflict zones, underlining art's potential to incite change. His creations resonate both locally and globally, connecting audiences with the narratives of those amid conflict.
Al Hawajri showcased his art in solo exhibitions in Palestine and Lebanon. He was also engaged in group exhibitions in Palestine, Lebanon, UAE, Jordan, UK, France, Switzerland, and Norway. He also participated in art fairs in Lebanon and Egypt.
