Muhammed Saeed

Muhammed Saed (Ain Qana, Southern Lebanon, b.1983) received his Masters of Fine Arts from the Lebanese University. In 2012, Saed won the jury’s prize at the 31st Fall Exhibition held at Nicolas Sursock Museum, organized by Beirut Exhibition Center.

Saed's artistic style is a unique blend of Neo-Pop art and Neo-Expressionism, providing socio-political and cultural commentary on the confessionalist atmosphere of Lebanon. His work is characterized by a clever use of color, perspective, and patterning to create powerful compositions. His oeuvre is divided into two main series: a political series that satirically portrays Lebanese figures, and "The Lost Promises," which presents a dark romantic vision of failed architectural works in Lebanon.

Muhammed Saed's art has been showcased in various galleries and featured in numerous collective exhibitions and art forums in Beirut, underscoring his significant contribution to the Lebanese art scene.
