Micheline Nohra

Micheline Nohra (b. Lebanon) is contemporary artist who graduated from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (Lebanese University).

Nohra has established herself through a distinctive approach to portraiture that blends figuration and abstraction, capturing the complexities of the human experience—particularly the challenges faced by the Lebanese people today. Her work offers a vivid interplay of beauty and madness, mirroring the chaos of contemporary life through bold, dynamic brushstrokes. Her paintings pulse with movement and energy, combining vibrant colors with a spontaneous, intuitive style. Each piece reveals a unique rhythm, as her expressive technique explores the tension between order and disorder, creating a space where abstraction and the human form coexist seamlessly.

She has participated in several group exhibitions in Lebanon and an auction in New York. Her first solo exhibition took place in Beirut in 2022, followed by another in mid-2024.
