Charbel Gergess

Charbel Gergess is a Lebanese artist born in 1995. He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from the Lebanese University, graduating with distinction from his Master’s program.

Working between realism and abstraction, Gerges explores a range of media including painting, installation, video, and photography. His practice is driven by experimentation, using shifts in medium and visual language to examine emotions, ideas, and aspects of the human experience.

At the core of his work is an interest in authenticity and the possibilities of art as a form of personal expression. Rather than adhering to conventional notions of beauty or taste, Gerges approaches art as a space for honesty and introspection. His work reflects an ongoing exploration of inner states, human relationships, and the tension between what is expressed and what remains unspoken.
