Rached Bohsali

Rached Bohsali (b. 1957) is an award-winning Lebanese artist, architect, and professor based in Beirut. After earning architecture degrees from the American University of Beirut and the École d’Architecture de Paris-Villemin, he transitioned from architecture to painting in the late 1980s. His work has evolved from hyper-realistic watercolours to dynamic geometric abstraction.

Bohsali has exhibited widely in Lebanon and internationally, with a major 2025 retrospective, Phases of A Mutation, at Rebirth Beirut. His works have appeared in significant exhibitions and sales, including Bonhams in London, and he has received numerous awards locally and internationally. He is also an Associate Professor at the Lebanese American University (LAU).
