Mohamed Rabie

Mohamed Rabie (b. 1986, Minya, Egypt) is a painter and graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo. He is a member of the Fine Artists Association and the General Federation of Arab Archaeologists. In 2011, he received an incentive award from Helwan University and a full-time grant from the Ministry of Culture. His works are held in private collections in Egypt and Dubai, and in the permanent collection of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces.

 

Rabie has participated in numerous exhibitions, including the 6th Beijing International Biennale (2015), a month-long workshop in China in 2017, and over fifteen group shows in Egypt. His paintings draw on the heritage of southern Egypt, reinterpreting historical themes through a contemporary visual language characterized by clarity and accessible imagery.
