We are excited to announce an upcoming art exhibition featuring the poignant and thought-provoking works of Iraqi artist Riyad Nehme, titled "Nothing." This exhibition will delve into the complex and multifaceted theme of war, exploring the profound impacts it has on individuals, societies, and the human psyche. Through a diverse array of mediums, Riyad’s art challenges viewers to confront the often overlooked emotional and psychological scars left by conflict, inviting them to reflect on the quiet aftermath of chaos and the concept of absence in the face of devastation.
Set to open on April 01, 2025 at Art Scene Gallery, "Nothing" promises to be an immersive experience, transforming the space into a landscape of reflection and introspection. Riyad’s works draw from his own experiences and cultural heritage, offering a unique lens through which to analyze the complexities of war, identity, and resilience.

معظمنا يخفي مشاعره الحقيقية، ولكل واحد منا شكل لهذا الإخفاء، وبهذا نشكل جميعاً صورة لمجتمع يقوم بدور شبيه بشكل الكائن الجميل الذي لديه القدرة والبراعة العالية بأخفاء مشاعره، وابراز العكس. ذلك هو المهرج..
فنحن بذلك نشكل مجتمع كامل من المهرجين.. نتحمل ضغوط حكوماتنا ولعبها بمصائرنا، وسرقتها لحياتنا ونحن نضع قناعاً مبتسماً!
هنالك فرق بين الهرج والتهريج.. الاولى تعني الفوضى، والثانية تعني الاتيان بأفعال واقوال تضحك الناس. وبين الفكرتين هو "اللاشيء"
