Riyad Ne’mah

Artist Riyad Ne’mah presents his project “Second Hand Life,” on “Sabah Al Yawm” with host Lorca Sbeity exploring themes of consumption, accumulation, and the fragility of the individual in modern society. Ne’mah highlights the role of art as a moral responsibility, giving voice to the marginalized and confronting war and political hardship.
Drawing from his personal experiences of suffering in Iraq, he reflects on pain as a force that shaped his resilience and creative drive.
He also shares his views on taboo subjects, the meaning of homeland, and hope as living fully in the present moment.
