Oussama Baalbaki

Oussama Baalbaki (b. 1978, Lebanon) is a Beirut-based painter known for his expressive landscapes, cityscapes, and self-portraits. A graduate of the Lebanese University of Fine Arts, he explores the relationship between painting and photography, using brushwork and color to capture time and emotion. Influenced by Impressionism and everyday digital imagery, his work blends realism with expressionism. Baalbaki often paints himself, finding in self-portraiture a reliable way to express emotion, mood, and introspection. He comes from a family of artists, following the legacy of his father, Abdul Hamid Baalbaki.
