Raouf Rifai
Raouf Rifai, born in Lebanon in 1954, is a celebrated artist known for vibrant works that blend abstract symbols with cultural themes. He holds a Ph.D. in Urban Planning from Sorbonne and teaches interior design at Lebanese University. Over a 40-year career, Rifai has had over 120 solo exhibitions worldwide and won first prize at Beirut’s Sursock Museum Salon d’Automne in 2010. His art, which explores identity and cultural change, is held in museums and collections globally and has been auctioned at major houses like Christie’s. He also served as Vice President of the Association of Lebanese Artists.
