Shaza Bazerbashi

Shaza Bazerbashi (b.1996) is a Syrian artist who earned a degree in fashion design in 2017.  Shaza dedicated herself to improving her skills in painting by participating in numerous courses at the Adham Ismail Center for Fine Arts and the Ahmed Walid Ezzat Centre for the Applied Arts in Damascus.

Shaza’s artworks are a vivid exploration of childhood and its inherent innocence, joy, and honesty. Her fascination with the world of children is evident in her effort to capture the essence of a child's personality, emotions, and imagination. She uses a unique blend of speed, intensity, and naturalness. She employs colors and forms that evoke childlike wonder and spontaneity.

Shaza participated in various group exhibitions in Syria and received the honor award at the Visual Arts Center competition in 2020.
