Youssef Youssef

Youssef Youssef (Al Qamishli, Syria, 1979) graduated from Adham Ismail Institute for Fine Arts in 2004 and was awarded the First Prize for Portrait of Syrian young Artists in 2005.  

Youssef's subject matters often revolve around the human condition and the complexities of human emotions. He is particularly interested in exploring the concept of identity, and his works often feature portraits of individuals with various expressions and moods.
