Mona Nahleh
Mona Nahleh (Lebanon) graduated in 1993 from the Lebanese University in Beirut with a degree in English Literature. In 1994, she studied academic painting techniques in Cairo under the mentorship of Egyptian artist Mansour Ahmad. She is a member of both the Lebanese Association of Painting and Sculpture and the International Artist Association.
Nahleh's art centers around the human figure, which she views as a malleable energy capable of expressing a vast range of emotions and states of being. By subtly distorting the human form to suit her distinct aesthetic, she delves deep into her own psyche, seeking meaning and truth while tapping into a universal state of being. Her work transcends worldly concerns and rather focuses on creating an escape from reality.
Nahleh has participated in various solo and group exhibitions in Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar, UAE, and France. Nahleh’s art has received international recognition, with some of her works featured in private collections.
