Christ Iskenderian
Christ Iskenderian is a Lebanese Armenian contemporary figurative painter based in Lebanon. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the Lebanese American University, specializing in Water and Environmental Engineering. Iskenderian’s works deeply explore themes of human emotion, attachment, filial love, and the Armenian Genocide, reflecting his cultural heritage.
His artistic style is characterized by vibrant, contrasting colors and bold compositions that bring human figures, musical instruments, and natural elements to life. His paintings pay tribute to his ancestors, capturing intense emotional and historical narratives.
Iskenderian’s art has been displayed in both private and group exhibitions in Lebanon and Armenia. Notably, his works are featured permanently at the Style Graphics Museum in Gyumri, Armenia, and have been exhibited in the Armenian Embassy in Denmark and the American Embassy in Lebanon. He also contributes to the art community as a juror for art school competitions.
