Ribal Molaeb
Born in Baissour, Lebanon (1992), Ribal Molaeb moved to Austria at 17 to study at Mozarteum Salzburg and later earned a Master’s degree with distinction from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Raised in the studio of his father, renowned artist Jamil Molaeb, he developed an early foundation in painting.
A trained violist, his years in Vienna and international musical performances have deeply influenced his approach to color and composition. Molaeb is the founder of the Molaeb Festival for Chamber Music and Fine Arts in Lebanon and has served as artistic director of the SUMITO Art and Music Association in Switzerland.
His work has been exhibited internationally across major cities, with pieces held in collections such as the Institut du Monde Arabe (Paris). He has participated in leading art fairs, including Volta Basel and Art Paris. Currently based in Zürich, he is represented by galleries in Lebanon, Japan, and Paris.
